Bird watching at Ranjit Sagar- Jamnagar.

Dear friends, On a Dt. 24-6-2010 myself and my birdwatchers friend Suraj Joshi and a Photographer Jagat Raval visited Ranjit Sagar Dem(near Jamnagar), a superb site for bird wathcing and photography. where we found few nestes of Phesent tailed Jacana, Perpel moorhen, Common moorhen, Baya and others..... near the coseway. and some other spices of birds that is return below. Gir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary is a 1412 sq. K.M. hilly and open ground land area and also grass land suitable for mammals like as a Asiatic Lion, Panther (Lepord), Haynas, and blue bull, spoted dears, Sambhars, Black Buck also are the attract by it. Gir forest provide a all type of food for every one. Many type of birds are also found in forest also. For there best location and verity the forest attract nature lover and wildlife lover, photographers, and bird watcher through the year. During the moonsoon park has been closed for the tourist because of Big cat (Asiatic Lion) meating period is during this season. And thats good because in this time lion is aggrasive during this period. In a April, 2010 Forest Department Gujarat hold a Lion census. and the official record of lion are given under below. In a end of 2008 myself and Mr. Mehul Dudia and Mr. Maulik Varu were went for a photography of this little beauty named Desert Wheatear, found in its natural habitate near 6 k.m. from Jamnagar. and its looks like a beauty. I stoped our bikes and enjoying that moments. and than my self laydown the ground and go near as possible as. and I tooked a lots of images of that beauty. among them i like this image very much and i put it here....

One day Myself and my bird wathcers friend Mr. Mehul Dudia and Mr. Suraj joshi were in our routine trip for Khijadia Bird Sanctuary of Jamnagar located far 12 k.m. from Jamnagar. and there we found a Shikra (Juv.) sitted on the branch of tree. and showing to us it took sudden flight and I done a one clicked only of it. but I like this image very much....
